The reports I read on the thing, goes like this.
The phone will hit the market with a price tag of 2500 to 5000 usd.
That is the downside to the phone its initial price tag. The positives to the phone will be it utilizing Elon's skylink satellites for internet instead of a monthly bill for service, owners will receive a check for mined ada currencies farmed via phone downtime. The phone will also rarely need be charged due to solar panel / protective case that will be included.
Any thoughts?
Yea... No thx....
100% would rather use a pixel that's like 5 - 10 times cheaper and install GrapheneOS on it which most likely so much more secure and less invasive than a "tesla phone"... I mean, ffs, their tesla car tech is already invasive AF and if GDPR compliant still has any meanings anymore (which it doesn't...), that would definitely be against it...
I mean, dont get me wrong, I was an early starlink adopter, got the v1 literally the week it became available in my country, like.. It does have its use..
A " tesla phone" tho? Nah...
I'll just stick with graphene on pixel and use
