Vaccination will be made mandatory for "caregivers and non-caregivers of hospitals, clinics, retirement homes, institutions for disabled, for all professionals or volunteers who work in contact with seniors or fragile, including at home ", Emmanuel Macron announced. These professionals will have "until September 15" to be vaccinated. From this date, "checks will be operated" and "sanctions will be taken", added the head of state.

I think they need people for health services so they prefer to make it 'mandatory' instead of threating to fire them....

I'm pissed off by the mask and the covid, but i still trust science and local political structures, they do that for a more likely good reason IMO.

No government registrations, hospitals should choose their own staffing policies.

Barcodes should be tattooed on the wrist of every individual who gets both shots. These can be scanned to confirm identity and proof of vaccination.

Healthcare workers are at a greatly enhanced risk of contracting covid and also of then experiencing a severe course of the disease (because of the much higher than usual viral load they get exposed to). They must be able to function during a spike in covid cases. And they are in close contact with the highest-risk groups all the time, the sick, weakened and/or very old patients.

For these reasons, I can agree with the rationale behind a vaccine mandate for healthcare and caregiving workers. Not sure if I would go that far if I was in charge, but I can see the logic behind it.


I strongly disagree with the sanitary pass. In a country where the vaccination campaign has wrapped up, so that everyone who is at a heightened risk from the virus is either vaccinated or unvaccinated out of his own volition, government-mandated collective risk management for the broader public can no longer be justified if you ask me. If people want to take the risk of participating in these events while being unvaccinated, there is no longer a reason to stop them.

Mandatory vaccination for healthcare workers.

You should have to prove vaccination for things like cruises and other high risk activities. Sporting events are NOT high risk activities.

The only people that die are 40+. They aren't relevant to the future of any nation.
