I know its a pretty generic and/or stupid questions (trolls pls!) but I would love to know if playing the game is worth it. I used to play WoW a lot and cant help to compare stuff to that but all I am interested in is currently the end-game content (eg. raids: how many ppl/raid like 10/25man?) and a bit of pvp. So for I'm enjoying it although I have only started today and my comp is a piece of shit so can only play in ugliest graphic settings, but closing rifts and all the group events even on lower levels impress me. So does it get better? Or does it get boring as hell once you reach higher lvls?

I'm not 60 yet, but i'm level 50, and I have experience with most of the facets besides raiding.

- PvP From a perspective of a person who has done pvp since 20. PvP is far inferior to any pvp you will notice from diablo 2 to wow.
The maps are smaller, and less skill is involved.

- PvE is however seemingly completely equivilent to pve when it comes to dungeons, I can not say if raids are better or worse.

And finally what pulls this up for me is, the "new factor" compared to having played wow for a long time. But also the entire rift, and invasion thing they've got going on.
F2P has however not ruined the economy, or created massive gaps between high payers and low paying players, you can't simply donate your way to the top.

Well paying a bit or a bit more doesnt really put me off and pvp hasnt really been my main interest in any of the MMOs I've played so far since honestly I suck at MMO pvp, maybe MOBA pvp is more like my thing. I have already noticed that I might have to use the item shop later on since some of the souls or whatever they are called are not available for f2p as they came with the expansion and I was browsing the builds for mages and seems like most of these rely heavily on on of those souls. But yeah, I love the rift closing part. And also the "new factor" you were talking about, I have been looking for a decent MMO since I stopped playing WoW, or well even while playing since it was getting more dull the more days I spent playing the same dumb raids and MoP took the finishing blow on my wow carreer.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll give it a go than and see how far I get while waiting for WildStar to be released :).

If you don't want to buy Rise of the Storm I suggest you Cap out another character you like [insert other char (you like)]. Once you're higher level you will gain more currency and platinum. You can then buy REX with your Plats. You could choose to purchase Storm or the souls in the store if you'd like. All from in game currency > Credits. :)

Also, Yeah... it's held interest in me for over 3 years. It's just I haven't been chill enough since I started to play, now I am. I play every day along with many other games. Rift holds value, lots.

I dig it. I have one of each class, none are 60 though. Warrior and cleric both have a tank spec and I cycle through their dps specs whenever I feel like it. My rogue is really solid and kind of op with two of his souls (ranger and bladedancer) I farm like crazy on him and it's a blastttttt. My cleric I play necro on him a lot cuz Diablo2 got me into summoners and the sort. The mage healing spec is really neat, you just dps and it heals people as a side effect. All the different specs{souls} really drew me to the game, and that alone makes it better than an old mmo I used to be a huge fan of. I play on faeblight send me a pm if you ever roll one on that server.
