Does Rift make laptops overheat?

I got a shitty laptop that has heating issues, but i'm pretty good with it on low. I ended up picking up a cooler though because of LoL/Rift and it's fine. Coolers are pretty cheap overall.

Just adapt your video settings. Should be fine for the most part. Major cities on a populated server can be pretty ugly, but like I said, I tweaked my settings till I got a cooler and I was fine.

I lag in low settings Rift but not in Skyrim on High settings.

yeah this game makes it overheat more than others but its okay if you drive on low
