Any good tips for starters? Ive never played this game nor seen gameplay my friend told me to dl it so why not. Whats a good pvp class? Is it an annoying game like WoW?

if your into pvp I would just say make sure you are ranged..
I am a warrior and went tempest because any melee spec I was just getting destroyed.

Chose the class that fits you the most and test around. The variation of just one class is impressive and if you like theory crafting and math crafting you'll have a lot of funny hours
Levelingphase is pretty easy and very fast since you can level in a lot of different ways.



If you wanne PvP the game is ok.
If you are playing alone ghc is right - make sure to be ranged.
If you doubleteam with your mate get Heal Cleric/ Chloro Mage + Warrior and you'll destroy others pretty easy when youre a regular or better player.

The raiding is fun but very easy and there are alot of bugs. I stopped to play Dec 2012 so my info might be old but until Dec i led the 2. best German Progress Raiding Guild. Feel free to pm me if you need any gameinfo

Thanks for the info guys. Im going to start playin this game probably tonight. I have a friend I will be playing with so im thinking either a ranger or healer. Im very good with makin clutch plays so with escapes im hard to kill in most games. My buddy likes playing warriors most of the time. Game sounds decent and pvp is what im about.

as i heared GW2 is way better for PvP but i've never played it.

Give Rift a shot its a great idea of a game but Blizzard should buy it and overwork it to make it a real good game (but not as noobish as WoW..)

its basically a world of warcraft knock off. i used to play wow and now i play rift. its pretty much wow with a name change and a few things added in to make it different. and for leveling in the beginning, quest and go to as many rifts as possible. when you click on your map you will see swirley things. those are rifts. go to them. they are good exp

Then you're doing it wrong. I run 61 RB/15 Temp and 61 WL/15 Temp and do just fine with both of them. The only thing that makes a difference is having a healer.

One of the strongest PvP specs right now (this is after you're rank 80 prestige and in full warlords gear) is 61 RB/15 Tempest (warrior). This spec rips people to shreds with ease.
