you can free transfer your char every 3(maybe 7) days. So the server you pick isn't a big thing until you find a home.

What makes you think rift will become f2p?I purchased warhammer online at 09 and played only a month.Still waiting for it to become f2p but it won't :)

Same for rift it will not go f2p
