I'm interested to know some of the new info. I played literally for the first 2 weeks of launch, then I had to leave for over a year. What's new? Is it worth picking back up?

Let me start out by saying, when I left rift back in August of 2012 I was so bored of the game that I would log-on for 10 minutes and do circles in Meridian on my mount, realize it was too boring to play and log-off. I picked back up about 3 weeks ago with the new Storm Legion expansion. It has a bunch more dungeons for 50+ and new lvl 60 raids. They also boosted the pvp prestige cap to lvl 80. All in all I think it was a geat buy and I'm actually having fun again. So you'll get a solid recommendation from me.

I remember running the circles in Orgrimmar in WoW when I played haha. Any other solid reviews?

i quit around august of 2011 a few weeks into hk raiding.. just picked back up 2 weeks ago.. and i have to say it is pretty freakin fun now. sooooooo much different things to do for lvling and a bunch of new lands to explore. im diggin it agian

I had that mindset when i rejoined. "Yay i'll be special with collector's items!". But collector's edition is still available to anyone who throws an extra $10 at them. Good game though. :3

Is the game still p2p?
I havent played since early 2012

Pretty sure it is. Theres Rift lite where you can get to a certain level, like WoW trial, but that's it.

But was thinking about picking it up again as well.

yes the game is still p2p. The game is not too bad actually. I started when the new expansion came out. Its a pretty good game. I currently have 30k plat on any US rift server so.. if anyone needs let me know
