maybe it only listed what the DPS was and not the whole parse.

it had like a tab for gsb/ros (maybe, not sure) and HK. then a tab for each boss and like the top 15-20 world wide dps parses for each.

Ability to compare players in a parse, basically shows their stats side-by-side in a single window.

Not 100% sure how accurate it is, the home page says it's still in Beta and warns that some things might be off. Best thing would be to compare what it shows w/ what ACT shows to confirm it's accurate and let the webmaster know of anything that seems off.
Probably missed a couple functions, haven't actually explored it yet, only uploaded a single Grug kill to see how it looks and what not, certainly not an expert on the site.

This can be used to help people analyze raid efficiency, figure out who's doing what right, who's doing what wrong, etc...

Can also be used to compare dps to other guilds and what not.

Anime, if you weren't serious then hopefully this will help someone who doesn't know.

Yeah, as far as I can tell there isn't a rank system on this site so sorry, Pretty sure the site you're talking about went down a couple weeks before raidrifts did (or roughly after) but I'm pretty sure the increased traffic from the one that went down first is what killed the second one. But I can't be sure/remember off the top of my head.

Yeah, AFAIK there isn't a ranking parse site up anywhere at the moment. (Unless I'm wrong, and not in the loop )

The site breaks it down so you can evaluate everyone's performance.

Addons are okay for knowing a rough estimate of what your damage was, but they don't show accurate results or detailed information.

Notice how there's a shit ton of information there.
That can be used to evaluate efficiency in a raid much better than an addon like SimpleMeter
Add rankings to the site, and it would allow for people to compare their performance (dps/hps/etc...) on PvE fights with various guilds (well, anyone who uploads public parses) (This is what OP wants, and rankings is really the only thing this site is missing imo)
