What is a good maximum DPS build for raids?

Don't follow anything he says word for word, but it's a good start.
Builds are pretty solid, just need minor tweaks to fit personal playstyle

36/30 is pretty solid and easy

Have been doing 36/30 for awhile.
Wondering if maybe my dps is related to my cycle then.

What's your gear level? Also, your DPS output can be related to your rotation

For example;

My rogue is Full T4 (mostly BiS) Akylios relic dagger/Molten Brand

In raids, if I were to build up 5 combo points for every final blow, I would pull around 3,000 DPS
If I cycle my rotation properly, I will pull around 3,600 DPS (Not building 5 CP Final blows)

All it is is the best stuff on market, no relics.
Tormentors set (staff/body/shoulders/ring) and such.
I suppose it could be my gear too, but I hardly pull 1K dps..

By market, do you mean <T1 Raid gear? Or, crafted gear? If so, I wouldn't worry as much about your DPS until you're in Tier gear of some sort. Your DPS is going to be sub-par until you get your 4 piece T1 and a crystal

Try 51 elementalist
It doesn't scale well, so when you get better gear you'll be better off switching.
BUT
The rotation is super easy
and at a low gear level, it isn't bad.


I've only gotten the 4pc greater mark set recently, (Hk vendor) and have no T2 raid drops except 1 ring from RotP and my last murdantix w/ 36/30 was just over 3k dps. You might want to get in some T1 raid pugs as an archon or something and get your gear level up, and practice your rotations on the dummy in town.

theres a really good stormcaller build as well im not sure on the souls but ive personlly seen it parse 2300 on a dummy
