Our first time in a T2 raid was RotP (Never went into HK, never had the 20 people, very low pop shard)

Does it seem like the first two bosses in there are a complete joke? They were way too simple imo...

Then you jump to the 3rd boss, which isn't hard at all, but we can't kill because of the DPS check, we don't have the gear to put up the numbers required.

So yeah, I'm pretty disappointed with the difficulty in the instance :(

How do y'all feel?

There's literally 2 Guardian guilds on my server that can kill Murdantix, We just downed him for the first time this week, didn't attempt him before that, just couldn't get the numbers.
(Seriously, there's like 20 people online at night... by night I mean ~10pm server.)

Also, what's respectable mage dps when encountering Murdantix for the first time? I feel like I was slackin' in full T1 gear, was beat by a MM (which is why I feel like I was slacking, I f-in hate MM)

How about you move on to a higher pop shard instead with your guild? Servers are dying, it's in the nature of mmorpgs.

I like the server, the community is great, that's pretty much the only reason.

Got the the fights down np btw

Now to try to muster up the people to actually go into HK :\

I stopped playing Rift over the last few weeks, but acceptable Murdantix numbers for first-timers are 1600+ IMO. It's a matter of finding the right spec that allows you to get big numbers while moving enough to stay alive.

I recommend transferring to Seastone. My guild moved there about two months ago and we loved it. The community is awesome, it's plenty populated, and there is people running PUG t1 raids all the time, and occasional HKs. The PvP is also fun and balanced.

No matter what my dps is, I always feel like a slacker, so I'm always trying to make it better.

My guilds first time in HK I did 2.3k, so that makes me feel a little better, but it's still not good enough.
