so i got a copy of rift for free when i recently went to gencon... buddy of mine said to sell it... but if i use it wont and it sucks its wasted...

Don't bash wow in this thread unless you were actually good at it and can say truely that rift > wow

You can get in free trials to see if you like it first if you want to tip your toe in the water to so to speak. It's a fun game for those who like the genre. It is a different game then WoW but it does share a lot of similarities.

Play a trial, since it's the Half-Birthday they have a lot of stuff going on, will level quickly have no restrictions, just give it a chance.
That way if you like it, you have a copy...

(The game is only $5 at the moment if you buy it from them, so you may want to hold off on selling it if that's what you decide to do)
