I really liked RIFT, all the way from 1-50, and then all the way from 1-50 again.

And then when I finally got around to crafting, I learned that the entire craft system (that matters) is based on the RNG of the epic token drops from the daily quest.

Broken.

Did 15+ days of dailys at cap level in profs. No tokens.

Quit game.

/e inb4 someone finds a reason to tell me im wrong.

I feel the same way you do, man. You're not wrong, it's a terrible system. Get lucky or never see a good crafting recipe ever.

I wouldn't worry or get upset about it im positive they'll change it, its a new game don't expect everything to be perfect, one thing on a new game shouldn't make u quit
