Im brand new to rift and wondering should I go..........

Guardian or Defiant

and what a good starting class is. Im an avid wow player turned to rift now due to the boring repetitiveness.
PvE preferred if that makes any difference. Please someone could answer this in a timely manner I would greatly appreciate it.

Despite what this guy says, there's no 'better or worse' faction, go for what appeals to you most. Watch the faction trailers and then judge I started playing defiant, cause i dont wanna play as an over-religious faggot

how do you propose this? faction means nothing, the whole alliance thing is also a huge stereotype, cause it's no where near filled with QQing kids, I can't even recall running into one in my 5 years of playing wow.
