I downloaded/played it at a friends house... but he has a weird internet.

He can run 1 xbox with live, he tries to run a second, crashes live.

He can run INFINITE comps on his internet, no change to his internet speed.

But when i try to run rift, i randomly spike up to like 4k lat, then D/C.

The xbox problem is 99% because they share the same IPs and conflict when both log onto live, I used to have the same problem in my house. It kinda fixed itself though haha
And the RIFT thing is cause bad computer/internet

The computer is top of the line...but yea i think it might be the internet.

Both me and all my friends on europe experiences alot of laggspikes.

It seems trion have some issues with their bandwith or whatever. If your playing europe its probably the same thing. US im clueless about, but most likeley same problems.

He's not on the outskirts or anything, in the city.

Then it could be some kind of port thats closed, did u try disabling NAT on the router? If you have one that is.

Otherwise It could be that his ISP service has their main hub far away from trions. Its not likeley to be this but its a possiblity I guess.

We'd have to roam his house and find out, we'll test when he buys it.
