havent touched the game yet but in wow i normally was a healer. how is leveling a healer? can u level doing dungeons?

Leveling a healer/ cleric (there are other healers e.g mages, rogues) is pretty damn awesome!.

You can switch between roles so you have 1 for leveling and one for healing etc. I use a tanky dps as my main leveling spec and if you're out of combat you can switch to your healing spec in a couple of seconds. This way you can level a lot easier as a cleric than in most mmorpgs

are the rogue and mage healing specs just as effective as the cleric? cuz that seems really different.. haha
if they are ill just roll a mage

From what ive gathered Mage's are sort of offheal so they do dps which heals allies at the same time.

Rogues is more of a buff supporter with some heal... I'm not sure how either class compares but i'm sure Clerics will still have a use.

Bards (Rogue) are mostly supporters, with great buffs, a little bit of damage and some healing. They will never be "main" healers.
Chloromancers (Mage) are also supporters, but afaik they are more healing, less buffing than Bards. If they can "main" heal, no, not right now. Maybe later when they are overgeared. Now im talking lvl 50 T1-T2 expert (like heroic in wow) dungeons.

Clerics are the only viable "main" healer at this stage. Im playing one btw, and its awesome. And you can easily lvl up with some dps souls. Inquisitor is a great dps soul, try it out. Also heard great things about the Shaman soul as a solo-dps'er, but havent tried it out.
