I want one that isnt MM or with a pet, what did u guys use?

I went with assassin as main spec, because stealthing and assassinating people is sooo fun
Then bard off-spec for some buffs and all
and the defensive soul (forgot what it's called) as my third because it gives a move similar to a WoW mage's blink that teleports you like 50 yards for a quick escape in tight situations

Riftstalker > Asassin > nightblade

^my leveling build. This is also a good pvp build as its annoying as hell with quite a few disables and makes you neigh unkillable. Remember you can heal yourself on mobs if you put 5 combo points on them and then just combo point them to death instead of using a finisher, (gives you 30% hp back every time).

This was one of my rogue builds from lvl 23-50. I have a few more if you're interested. I mained riftstalker for the most part, but you can put points into w/e you feel your playstyle merits.


Also: You will have ~ 5 different teleports using this build and every time you teleport you get increase in dmg absorb/crit chance and I forget what else (movespeed?) for 10 seconds. Its quite a buff, especially since one of the skills tele's you directly behind an enemy AND it doesn't break your stealth so you can instantly assassinate them w/o having to move into position (with a 15% more chance to crit buff on you no less). You can figure out the rest of the combos yourself, but it's a good build imo, I enjoyed it for quite a bit.

From level 28+ or so ill need a pvp/ leveling build, but for now i need something that will get me to there the easiest.

I was actaully suprised that my cleric was leveling so much easier than a rogue. (eventhough i remember on my cleric at 28+ i got pvp'd a lot while questing)

id say sin, RF, NB are great for getting to 1-35 but mobs later on start getting more difficult and some souls start to fall behind on dmg and survivability. i use a BD at 35 using http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0MpVM.VG0hz.v0dVhoRkMdz spec. This was posted on the rogue rift forums and it works great so far, i can kill mobs in 7-9 seconds and immediately go to the next mob

ya once u get to like 30
go bd/with 13 points in rift for the heals
and u can power level aoe ez

eh i use bladedancer/riftstalker/nightblade @ 37 and im doing ok. I may try that bard one though.
