REQUIREMENTS
- Rift
- Parallel Destop.. ect
- Windows CD

In all it should cost 200-400 dollars depending on how you do it.

Rift Requires
Operating system: Windows XP, Vista or 7
Processor: Dual Core 2.0 GHz or better
Memory: 2 GB
Hard disk space: 15.0 GB available
Video: Nvidia GeForce FX 5900, ATI/AMD Radeon X300, Intel GMA X4500 or better.
Sound: DirectX 8.1 compliant card
DirectX®: 9.0c, June 2010 update
Broadband internet connection (DSL, cable modem or other high speed connection

.. Easy But maybe expensive fix.

You need to get a program that allows you to run windows on your mac.

-Parallel Desktop (I use) - $79.99/59.99 (BestBuy Deal)
-VMwear Fusion 3 - $79.99 $49.99
-Virtual-machine - No amount found, I think it just a download.. -
-Wine - No amount found, I think it just a download..

I use Parellel Desktop. like i stated above.
Once you get your choice of Windows trasnfer download it on to your computer. Its pretty easy run through should take around 5-45 mintues depending on your computer, While its being downloaded stay around your computer, it asks you to put some information in and your CD product keys. Make sure you choose the run like windows option.

Once its fully downloaded all you have to do is pop your rift in and start to play! Also you may get an error "You are not authorized to play".. Dont Flip out. Just open the little book you got that came with your game.. Your Product key needs to go alone with your account name, It give you a free month, but also it asks for your credit card information,It wont charge you right away, but it is a Pay to Play game. Once your free month runs out it will start to charge you.

I know most mac users dont like rebooting onto a bad operating system but the best way is to use 'Boot camp' (A program that is supplied with intel based macs) and installing windows as a separate partition.

The advantage of doing this is that you do not have 2 operating systems running parallel so windows will use your specs to the max.
The disadvantage is that you have to reboot.

Other than that it's a nice post, i use Parallel Desktop myself for smaller programs but i find that for more demanding programs rebooting gets the most out of them. (And boot camp is free)

DO THIS. I can vouch from experience (My Father thought he'd try parallels on his macbook pro) that it wont perfrom to a degree that works well for anything beyond email, etc.

Get boot camp.
