Anyone saying rift will be the next wow is well.. tarded..

For starters it would be impossible with these developers even if the game actually had the potential.

I wont even go further but saying its gona beat wow is just pathetic.

Well WoW is old and people have it completely milked out... thats why this is a good alternative.

I got damn bored of WoW a long time ago once you get a couple of champs to the level cap, this is something 'new'

Heh, I got bored of WoW too; just looking for a new MMO.

I will, of course, give Rift a shot, but, even as a new game, it doesn't fit my category of "better than." I just see so many issues with the game that disappoint me; I don't feel like they gave this game their all. Just gotta wait for Tera to come along I guess

save your money and wait on D3 or a new ground breaking, fun, gory, adult content mmorpg (if ever)

I played wow for 5 years and was a serious pvper so these are my views on it right now.

its funner than cata

-classes are fun
-leveling is fun
-rift are fun
-dungeons are fun
-pvp fun

just think back to when you first started wow and everything was fresh

will this game die in a month like the others? no lol if you think this, stop riding blizzards nuts this game should hold up pretty good.

if you still play wow you're either a wotlk hero, pvper with no other game to play (... sc2,hon,lol,quake,cs???), or simply a pvp hero who enjoys their guild. This game isn't going to be the new wow, nothing will but if you're looking for a new experience I'd try it.


PS- WoW use to be a great game around the vanilla-tbc era but now its turned into like maybe runescape fucking boring and braindead to play.

Look up Blade and Soul. It is coming out late this year I believe. And, along with Tera, it looks like one of the most promising MMOs since WoW came out (imo).

/e after watching the video i think gameplay looks to choppy and bouncy to be much fun. It looks either overdone for the video or reallly realllllly simple with reallllly flashy animations. n/n

its much more detailed than WoW, more balanced aswell imo.

WoW just got even more crappy than it was.

This game has balance issues out the ass. WoW is horribly imbalanced; and yet, this game won't be able to achieve 1/10 of the balance WoW has due to the soul system.

Compared to WoW vanilla, the best version of WoW, I'd prefer WoW vanilla. If I was a hardcore raider, I'd still go WoW; more content, etc.

This game is, at best, a decent PvP MMO, but because of the impossibilities with balance...ehhh.



That's why I am waiting for Tera, not Blade and Soul. Was just answering his question

Also, bouncy/fast attacks are what makes pure action rpgs fun. You also can't judge an entire game based on screenshots and videos released before the game is even in beta

(Although I do agree with the ncsoft part; not sure if those bastards can get it right this time around)
