They probably won't. Most companies don't.

This is another big "ehh" factor for me. If the company couldn't put the effort to make the transition from PC to macs in their coding (which is easier nowadays with intel macs than it has ever been), then how can I expect them to put a lot of effort in maintaining the game?

Coming from someone who tried AoC, and a few other games in hopes of it being better than WoW, this game has me interested already. Same WoW type feel, the characters look stupid, but the game play is pretty interesting. I'd definitely give this a shot.

Yea I mean it cant be to bad blizzard does it. However, I like Rift and have no way to play at my house lol imo solid game from what ive played

Remember people quit WoW for Aion? Look how that went.
Also, remember people quit for Warhammer Online? That went even worse... the game is free to play now.

Have fun with Rift by all means, I just don't see it being a huge game or even coming close to what WoW has accomplished (no matter your view on WoW, no MMO has came close to beating it yet.)

I played the Rift beta, the gameplay is kinda slow and choppy IMO, and I know friends who went from WoW to Rift, and they are already back to WoW.

Then again, it's all opinion, but I just don't see this game succeeding as well as people are putting it out.

Rift is WAYYYYYYYY better than WoW, WoW is run by a bunch of pu ssies catering to the whiney fa gs who startes playing after Wotlk. WoW will continue to come out with expansion after expansion after expansion after expansion in hopes of keeping people with them. Imo I give WoW another couple years before it dies and allows other Mmo's to make moves in the industry. But aslong as you have these Blizzard dickriding WoW fans they will always try to put down new games because they don't want their Precious moments in WoW to be gone forever (people with 0 friends outside of WoW) Face it Rift is going to be around for a longggggggggggggg time and Me along with everyone else thinks its going to be WoW's downfall. I can't wait for that moment I will be lurking in the forums for that moment so that I can Troll the shit out of you little fags
