PvE is never hard.

1) Get better gear -> if gear is fine, you're good to go
2) Learn mechanics
3) Don't play with people who has downs

Profit. Every bit of Rift is roflstomping, never played WoW so don't really have an opinion.

WoW fighters are harder mechanic-wise than Rifts are. Both WoW and Rift suck but at least WoW's mechanics were a bit interesting.

Again, both games are bad. Most MMOs are bad.

Rift is a good game. Lets take into consideration that's it's a new game, give it time.

MMO's don't get time in today's market. If they are anything short of perfection on release, they die, sooner or later. That said, Rift is doing okay currently, but I don't think it has enough momentum in its current state to keep it going for very long. Gamers are getting bored of MMOs in general because they are all the same nowadays. Rift is no exception. Because it doesn't do much that is extraordinary, I can't see it holding much of the community for a long time.

All that aside, its a pretty fun game so far, just very overhyped. I wish they had spent more time on the mechanics than they did on their graphics engine (beautiful game, but as far as mechanics, not too big of a fan).

Play Darkspore if you're looking for an interesting dungeon crawler RPG.

played it for the first four or five levels, it was pretty cool, but the equipping of items was really tedious, and too complex for the spore-interface.

i'll keep playing the beta for sure, thanks for reminding me.
