I've been playing since launch. I like it more. I played WoW since early 2005, and needed something new. Yes, the games are very similar. Hopefully it grows into something a little more over the next few months.

That's why I wanted to play, for something new and fresh but eh.

i got bored and quit as soon as i hit 50.

got realllly boring really quick.

I think I'm just getting bored with MMOs in general having played for so long.

honestly, the same for me. but i think its wows fault.
its sad, but there isnt any mmorpg that can compete with wow. if wow gettin boring, every other mmorpg does aswell.

rift has some nice features, but nothing really serious.
rifts are boring after the first area and well, thats all what other mmorpgs doesnt have. the endcontent ist still far away from wow and wow offers so much more.

the boss mechanics are extremly boring and simple and the pvp system is just stupid grinding.

At level 50 you anything that you would do in any other max level mmorpg.

If they were going to make a WoW clone (Which they tried) they should have at least copied GOOD FEATURES ONTO IT. Sure, we have the same interface, the same general gameplay, the same item system. Where's our dungeon finder? Where's the option to turn on healthbars over enemy heads? How about fucking addons?

why should we compare it when wow was released? wow has nearly no comparisons when it was released, other than rift.
why should we compare a seven year old game with a game which is 2 month old? this makes no sense.

wow is the nr.1 mmorpg out now, so why shouldnt we compare other mmorpgs with it? its the best alternative where u can measure with.

just because u can pvp, pve and gank at max lvl doesnt mean its as good as any mmorpg which has similar features.
wow is way more complex than rift in the endgame, there are much more options/achievement u can achieve.

farming bgs till rank 6 and then?
they even tried to make different bgs than in wow, but these are even more boring...

u can design ur own interface as u wish. u can swap everything.

its just the endcontent rift messed up (in comparison with wow)

dont saying that rift sucks, its a good mmorpg, but aint nearly as good as wow is.
there wont be any mmorpg which is able to beat wow, as long as blizzard doesnt create a new mmorpg.

this has nothing to do with fanboy shit, its just fact and i know that the rift community wont agree.
