Rift is a lot closer to Vanilla than Cata is atm. If you ever played Vanilla and liked it, play Rift.

Wrath/Cata babied the masses that WoW attracted. I like Rift a lot more than Wrath/Cata

Hence the term Wrathbabies.
IMO cata brought back the need to have a guild for raids.
For now.
But soon, all the content will be nerfed to the floor.

this game has the coolest classes
atm im leveling as assassin/ranger
with only bout 5 points in ranger (for pet)
and rest into assassin and i just spam backstab while my pet tanks lol

I like how it breaks the boundaries of this class can only do this and that. For example, clerics (probably most thought of as heals) can tank..
Its much different from WOW.
the other thing i like is that there is no "perfect" way to arrange talents. can spread them out into 3 different groups so everyone can be unique

I was reading tons of reviews, some good, some bad. If you played WoW, You'll realize the User Interface is very similar, and picking up quests are about the same, Hoykeys, etc. However. This game Stomps WoW on so many levels. The fact that there is always so much to do.

Bored with Quests? Go Take down Rifts. (Rifts = Amazing)
Bored with Rifts? Go do some Warfronts. (Warfronts = Battle Grounds)
Bored with Warfronts? Go stop Invasions.

Not to mention the Class System (Calling System), has Endless possibilities for different builds. With the Calling system, it gives a the game a Learning Curve far greater than WoW's.

It's by far the best MMORPG I've ever played. I'm having a ton of fun with it.

As for the Graphics, If you have a High-End computer like me, When you max the settings out, The game looks Phenomenal.
When you see a Rift Dropping from the Sky for the first time, Your Jaw will drop.

rifts where its at right now... i forsee it taking over wow.. like any new MMORPG its ganna have its bugs in the beginning. WoW is for the people who like wow. Rifts for the people who like/liked WoW and other MMORPGs, Personally i like it alot, if you have a high end gaming computer the graphics are mighty nice.

When I was in beta, I would have friends at my house to chill or smoke or whatever, and then a rift would come along and every single time it was an epic experience

Rift Drops on high graphics, especially in some of the higher zones = Amazing.

Love this game completely so far, the hardest part for me has been breaking out of the "everything should be easy" wow mindset.

It'll probably last as long as Aion / Hellgate did.

It's gunna last a lot longer imo. The headstart was insane, the amount of people playing is retarded compared to when aion / hg first came out
