all games are complete clones if because most have very similiar things

Personally people prolly have a boner over rift because its something new and fresh and there trying to take what sucks in other games and make it better in theres

Leads to a win win situation for gamers

play it before you judge it.
it may look like a wow clone at face value, but it feels very different.

if its a complete clone, and the graphics are better... other than u just contradicted yourself... then yea thats why people like it

and the class system

and the rate of combat

and the battlegrounds (the two ive done are different than wow on a strategy level)

and the talent system (including fast respeccs so you can change between fights)

its biggest shared value with wow is that they're both MMOs ffs.

I can't play WoW anymore, played it trough and want a change from it now.

So far RIFT to me feels (in a way) alike WoW Vanilla, before all the unnecessary additions were added to it.
This together with new content such as the rifts and invasions, and a well made interface/controls etc.
it feels good so far.
