I'm curious to see if it will grow to compete with WoW, I'd like to see it succeed.
They had 1.6 million people online the very first day of Head Start. I'd say that was a pretty good (pre)opening day.
As the others said, it's definatly very unique in its own way. While it does take aspects from many of the other MMO's (which is fine, every MMO has copied each other since the beginning) it has many things built within the game that will keep peoples interest for awhile. The whole invasion/rifts is just amazing.
I would say my biggest disappointment, atm, is how the exp is balanced. If you do nothing except quest, you will quickly be stuck behind. The game was no designed for people that just like to grind through quests to max level (like myself). The way the EXP is from quests ect, you either have to grind world mobs, goto the zone Rifts/Invasions or like most people do actually do 2-3 runs through your respective level dungeon.
And on that same subject, the other part that sucks is from reports from the riftjunkies forum, and Trion forums, at level 48.5 you run out of quests completely. Leaving you to grind mobs in the open world for roughly 4-6 hours to reach level 50.
