Most items on d2jsp for diablo and wow (not sure about other games) items/currency for the most part follow the usd price on farming sites into forum gold. The current popular ratio for Rift plat is 4:1 ( 4fg =1 plat). Lets say I was going to buy 1000fg it would cost me between $35-$36. With the 4:1 ratio 1000fg would get me 250 plat. Ok now here is the point im trying to get across If I went to a gold farming site and I was to buy $35-$36 in plat I would be getting around 325 to 350 plat. If the ratio was to be 3:1 people would be getting 333 plat falling into the $35-$36 range. something to think about I could be totally wrong more feedback is very welcome

I understand your logic but not everyone actually purchases forum gold by sending money to Paul taulborg. Therefore, that is the justification.

1. supply and demand

2. you do it for safety, plat sites are keyloggers half the time

3. if you are paying 35$ for 1k fg, you are doing it wrong

ya it dosnt matter if you buy fg or not just pointing out that the plat to fg ratio is to high and that people are overpaying fg for there plat

There are tons of people selling plat server xfers are free coming across someone on your faction isn't hard. im sure lots of people are trading fg for plat you would think sellers need to compete on prices instead of a flat 4:1

the cd on a transfer is only a week and yes the purchase fg button then enter custom amount
