awesome.

its fun as fuck and every class has huge versatility.

i can be a nuking stunning pyro mage 1 fight and be healing as a chloromage the next its a great game.

To be honest the diffrence between rift and wow is mainly that theres a shit load of stuff happening in rift all the time. Its open world pve (and pvp for that matter) and rifts keeps opening up all the time and stuff like that.

Theres a bit more content (perhaps not size of map wise but 'active stuff happening'?)

Otherwise its more or less like wow but compaired to all crappy ass NCSOFT games and stuff like that its really good.

I doubted it myself because ive tried loads of games (probably all except warhammer 40k) since wow came out.

I'm nowadays a negative person with prejudice against new mmo's but this is really a good game.

I cant speak for the endgame content but pvp and pve is so far really good.

It's just a bitch having to level all over again. (its a huge diffrence when you know exactley what to do in the quests like everyone does in wow nowadays!)

My biggest problem anyhow is the fact that I once again (played to many fu****** mmo's) have to learn all quests etc.

Its one thing to reroll in a game where u already reached maximum level.

Its a whole other thing to do it from the start.

U cant level half braindead and do something else meanwhile or stuff like that.

You really gotta focus somewhat to manage lvling up.

This is something that I keep forgetting and when I hit a new MMO its sooooo lame to do it all overagain.

Cata completly ruined every mmo intrest I had left in my body and Rift is really a good game but I really cant be arsed to do all the way to 50 again and learn it all over again.


I will probably wait for diablo 3. Blizzard does it best anyway. (even though they more or less ruined wow I will still stick to this comment)

This. Most quests are "Kill 10 ________"
And it puts a huge yellow circle on your map where the thigns can be found. It doesn't get much more simple than that. And leveling isn't nearly as long or painful as WoW
