Just got rift and its downloading - VERY SLOW tho.

Wondering what class i should play first, i only got to like level 3 in the beta. I heard mages is trash, true? I haven't figured out how the mixed classes work yet. Which server/s is jsp on?

Mage Arnt trash I get invited to many groups cuz of my dps and off heals

a lot of JSpers are on spitescar, about 6-10 i believe. ive been playing a rogue bladedancer/riftstalker and its been awesome.

Rouge - Bladedancer / riftstalker? are those subclasses? how does it work?

they are souls, there nightblade, blade dancer, sabateur, riftstalker, marksmen, ranger, infiltrator, and assassin which are skill trees. you can have up to 3 souls so you have a sabateur, assassin, and nightblade skill trees. an example being my spec at lvl 35 http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0MpVM.VG0hz.v0dVhoRkMdz.
