I’m not sure if this is the place but at what age do you think kids should stop sleeping with their parents? What’s the reasoning? Does it matter if it’s daughter and mom or daughter and father?

It's sleep, doesn't matter. Plenty of places where a family all sleeps in the same bed. Used to be all families did. Personally I'm not a fan of sharing my bed with multiple people for a few different reasons, but I'm sure if I grew up in a different place and/or time I wouldn't blink at the suggestion.

im literally squeezed off the bed cant sleep since my daughter sleeps diagonal on the bed we share... figured I'd share

dont know any answers to your questions but I can tell you. Shes woken up every night to crawl in with her Mom and I before we split. When she had her own bed she wouldnt sleep in it. I want her to be sleeping on her own soon, I expect by age 6 she'll want the same, shes 4 now. And no, father daughter sharing a bed isnt weird, I wish things were different for us but Im playing the hand we're dealt. its weird that she sleeps perpendicular to me though lol
