Hi everyone,

In my contract i am supposed to have 4G, but my phone has never detected it.

My roomate who has the same contract has always had 4G.

My phone is a Samsung galaxy A3, my gf has the same one and has acces to 4G. In fact, when we switched sim cards, my phone picked up her 4G, and her phone didn't pick up 4G with mine. (we have different companies)

I contacted technical services, but all they told me was to turn on roaming so it didn't work...

Any thoughts? Lmk if you need more information

Turn on airplane mode and then turn it off or perform a factory reset. Check with your provider that your plan includes 4G in case some odd reason you did not receive it.

you may have to input the tower username and password or simply just a website url (and port numbers) to enable internet (all of which are reffered to as apn settings)

call your company and ask, it is usually easy to do and if they require apn settings they will give you all the info you need

ive had to do this a few times on my iphone to enable 3g

usually they do this to protect their network or to limit abuse (such as tetherning for online games)
