Why do we grow out of Asthma?

You don't. Some children develop asthma like symptoms that are temporary, but you do not outgrow asthma.

I had asthma when I was younger; so essentially what you're saying is I still have it?

No, what I'm saying is you never had asthma if you got over it. Asthma is a life long condition that can be managed but not cured. What you had is something that children often develop temporarily due to having smaller lung airways. Asthma like symptoms but not actually asthma.
