Trump building a wall isn't going to stop crime....

what needs to happen to stop crime you ask? well here is my solution/opinion

Police Authority needs to be present EVERYWHERE at all times... how? we create an Artificial Intelligent Crime Fighting Armada...

rule 1. Everyone must be observed by this entity to ensure there are no loopholes for criminals to exploit

rule 2. this Entity must be interested solely to the prevention of violent or lethal crimes

rule 3. Everyone must be considered equal to this Entity to ensure no discrimination

rule 4. Entity must have ability to prevent crimes from happening physically (example. Robotic Police Force controlled by Entity)

rule 5. Entity must not interfere with any humans ability to have the lifestyle of their choosing EXCEPT when lifestyle is in conflict with rule 2


that's basically all I can think of right now.. what are your opinions? do you think an AI could help humanity evolve to the point of no violent crimes? what rules would you think are appropriate for an AI to aciheive this?

I feel like Terminator has given the wrong idea about what AI could do...
I mean the movie makes everyone afraid of the concept... where IRL it could help alot...

this terminator scenario has put fear into people about AI... which is unfortunate to say the least...

i did see recently the development of robots. They are getting pretty serious so maybe this could be the future!

I just watched the movie "Transcendence" and felt it was kinda sad...

on the one hand he became capable of doing great things and healing people and able to control nature...

but on the other hand everybody stopped trusting him and didn't even believe he was himself, but just a computer pretending to be him so that people would trust him or something... very sad ending to that movie...

its just a movie but is a good representation of how this kind of idea could go wrong

giving ai controlling or lethal power is extremely likely to be exploited, there are hackers out there that steal millions of dollars without a trace, and there are governments making nuclear weapons with the sole purpose of killing others.... now imagine them gaining access to a robot/computer system that has control over the (enemy) public.....

stopping crime will probably never happen and there are those who will always find a way around preventative measures

furthermore any attempts beyond what is already in place greatly infringes privacy, such as spy drones etc.

how could this possibly go wrong?
