This is an extremely hard to answer to find, more than likely because I'm not wording it right on searches. Anyways, what is the perfect degree arc to loose a projectile so that the force exerted makes it travel the farthest possible distance. For simplicity's sake well say that both points reside upon the exact same y-axis, with Earth's gravity and such.

Really? I goggled the first thing that came to mind - "angle maximum distance" and google straight up tells

A projectile, in other words, travels the farthest when it is launched at an angle of 45 degrees

Any kind of search that has the words "angle", "projectile" and "distance" should give you the answer in like the first or second result.

You should have learned this in any introductory physics class and the derivation is pretty easy
