Ok, so of course this has happened to all of us; we walk to the car after leaving a store and we have a song in our heads. You get in the car and start it up, only to find out the same song you were just singing is on the radio. Coincidence perhaps? Sure. Now this one. I just went to the store to get my wife some chocolate (it's that time), and as I pulled into the parking spot taylor swift was playing, shake it off. I walk into the house and give her the chocolates and she randomly starts singing that song, at the same spot that I turned it off at in the car. The parking spot is too far away for her to hear it, and she has been on the couch binge watching NCIS with the stereo up. No way she could have heard it.

That being said, I looked up about radio and brain waves, and apparently they say the brain cant pick up on radio because its too short of a wave or some mess. What can explain this phenomena?

My car does not have the radio connected, I haven't listened to the radio in one of my own cars in over 10 years. I listen to mainly hip hop. I get in her car for 5 minutes and hear two songs on it, and she happens to be singing the same song? So you're saying that by luck of the draw from radio playlists songs consistently run into our heads at the exact times that they would be played on a rotational based list, even for people who do not listen to the radio?

I don't buy it

Maybe she was listening to the same radio station as you but turned off the radio cause someone came to visit her.
Or it could be that it's a really really popular song, the chances that any random girl might be thinking about it is pretty good.

Or maybe it's a sign from God that you were meant to be together - he works in mysterious ways - right?

ok if she was singing a greenday song from 20 years ago, that would be freaky, a radio station that plays 12 songs all day...barely a coincidence

I would say it's a coincidence.
Ppl need to realize these things happen and "most" of the time shouldn't be given a supernatural reason of occurence.

Science says, coincidences are a natural part of life. ("most" do not believe in the supernatural)
People who believe in, "God" say; it's a sign and theres a reason, but they cannot define it exactly, most of the time.

Although, I wouldn't say believe us. Try to understand who you are and reason/define with it on your own.

Example; twins, they sometimes feel one another, it is rare. But there are many stories about it. I would also add, my mother has a twin sister, and I've seen it happen.
Science cannot define it, but they do admit, it is possible, but probably a coincidence, nothing more. But they also admit, it's more likely to happen between twins.
To defend science, I will say, they don't care much about such things, cause they're interested in much much more important things ;)

I will say, I'm generalyzing the whole aspect you brought up here.
What happened to you is quite minuscule, compared to others.
Not trying to say it means nothing and that it's not important. Who are we to say, what happened to you means nothing, if it touched you a certain way? No one can or should.

I've been researching alot about science, watching documentaries and so on.
Hopefully this helps you, in one of them a known scientist said; the human brain is so complex. Furthermore, he said; they still havn't unlocked everything about the human brain.
So maybe what happened to you and similar occurences in our lives will be explained in the near future, as facts and not "faith". Although I doubt it will happen anytime soon.

Good luck! :D

Also if you were bringing her Chocolates - you might have been trying to smooth over an issue and she was probably thinking about 2 days what she was going to say and once she saw the gift and that we you were trying, she's "going to shake it off" that being whatever issue she was thinking she had.

Even if we were equipped with some biological antenna capable of picking up frequencies used by common FM radio, we wouldn't be able to process it into actual music. There's fairly complex math (or specialized hardware) involved in taking the radio signal you get and demodulating the carrier signal out of it.

Obviously this woman was a witch who read your mind, I would immediately call for an exorcism and possible some gasoline and a large wooden stake.
