I'm looking for a good beginner telescope, my budget is $200-500 range

can be automated or manual, day or night. I just want a good all-around telescope if anyone has a good one they can recommend.

it would be cool if it were compatible with a camera so that I could attach a digital camera and take pictures.

If I had $500 to spend on a telescope this is what I'd buy.

I own a Orion SkyQuest XT6 Dobsonian Reflector telescope. I paid $300 for it, and it was rated one of the best beginner telescopes on the market by reviewers. I'll tell people to this day it's some of the best money I've ever spent. This scope is great for planets, lunar, and even deep space viewing given the proper condition and location!

Also, I started a thread when I got the scope back in October and have been taking some decent pictures of the moon and planets. Check my thread out since you're obviously interested in astronomy and telescopes. That might give you an idea of what to expect.

dont you need to have suitable location for it ? if you live like in UK it would be a waste of money right?

Ever since my nephew asked for one, I've been thinking about buying two. One for him and one for myself haha
