I am working on the differences between active and passive wifi searching of mobile devices.
I have been trying to come up with possible dangers of passive searching over active yet have yet to find any.
If anyone knows of a possible danger to mobile passive wifi searching Ill donate them 500 fg!

Even tho you have alot of fg just google your question will find your answer and save yourself 500fg i dunno why you would need to know that but like any kind of connection and searching you are being watched by big brother. Certain settings allow for different lvls of security also, but those are mainly to prevent ppl from accessing a network w/o permission.. but either way you would have to be targeted or dl something you shouldnt be to encounter a problem even at lowest setting. Like i said privacy is biggest factor for everyone.bell got caught spying on its customers and selling their data to ad companies, just as an example.

More and more medical devices have wireless capabilities, including those used in hospitals. Many of those are measurement and monitoring devices. The inherent strength in using active searching in this case is that the devices will have a more consistent connection to the network. Remember, wi-fi usually means mobility. In the hospital, wi-fi enabled devices will move from access point to access point as they are carried throughout floors and hallways. Passive searching may have increased dropped connections, resulting in some lapses in monitoring and eventually, when dependency on wi-fi in hospital increases, endangerment of patients.
