Unfortunately not very many human beings give two shits about animals if it's not their dogs or cats.
What we are doing to other life on Earth is inhumane, especially with rare and endangered species. What people don't understand is wiping out a species not only kills other animals but will lead to the downfall of humanity. You're not supposed to fuck with the balance of nature. It's like this for a reason.
We appeared on this planet with the mentality that we own it, but mother nature could wipe us out in a second.
