Nature is a bitch so this is the right section.

Tough duck is a damn good brand. I got a set for 30$ and they lasted me almost 4 months of daily use on the farm. They kept my hands warm.. to an extent. I also wore a thin pair of gloves under them on those extra windy days. They are good to work in also. Can still manage to grab things. Ill look for the ones I had online n link em

I dunno anything about specific gloves, but you may want to layer multiple pairs.

the extreme cold isn't expected to go away too soon in winter
Global warming slows the airstream which keeps weather moving and were probably going to see colder and wetter winters for a while

its all explained in here in this video from National Geographic Channel trying to explain why the entire planet is seeing the Worlds Worst Weather.
They talk about winter at about 1 hour into it

I worked outside for a lot of winters the job I did required very little finger use so I tried a pair of lined mittens, you would be shocked at how much warmer your hands feel. And with the mittens and gloves, really all your winter clothes, layers is the key to staying warm. And don't wear anything too snug, let the air space around you work for you.

I've always doubled up on gloves when working in the cold. I'll put a good pair on to keep hands warm then put on another that's OK to get trashed.
