Not sure if this is the correct location to post this but it has to do with nature xD

I'm starting to grow peppers. The main pepper I’m going to be growing will be the Carolina reaper, but I’m not sure if I should grow using hydroponics or regularly. With hydroponics I can grow inside but with regular growing with dirt i have to wait till the last frost Which can go into may.

hydroponics if you can handle the upfront cost otherwise just do it the regular old way.

less bullshit from bugs, easier to keep them at optimum growth rates, no having to strain your back with all the dirt work lol.

A guy that owns a little grow shop around my town is growing Scott Bonnets using a hydroponic setup, and he's been yielding fruit for I believe 18 months.. Hydroponic setups are completely worth it..

If you can afford it, an indoor system is definitely the way to go.

Hydroponics refers to growing them without soil, idk if you want to exactly go that way but you definitely could...

A greenhouse setup or a heating lamp on a timer is the setup that you need I think.

Hydroponics is definitely a bit more pricey but its so nice. You have better control over the npk's that the plant get fed through water-solution.

Hydroponics if you want to mass grow / production

Soil if you want better taste / quality

Preferably both indoor method

Good old fashion organic soil with compost gets my vote.
I wouldn't use hydroponics for anything other than scientific experiments.

Problem with organic soils and compost are the parasites that usually live in said soil, that kill plants. Best bet is to buy soil from a dealer who knows how to keep their soil, or grow with a nice hydroponic setup.

Hydroponics are great for small grows.. And they're no where as near as difficult as a lot of people say it it is
