I just realized why all my games and websites are starting to look like a bunch of building blocks.
Is it too late to hope for a comeback for desktop pc or is tablet the next new thing?

Made this post mostly cause of the changes to yahoo's site it just hit me the reason why sites are going to this type of layout.

I don't really mind it except for the fact that they put so much crap on the front page and try to hide anything that someone might complain needed a tldr.

Desktop PCs will be for the foreseeable future a very large portion of the internet userbase.

The good thing about CSS is that the designer can make web sites take on different appearances based on screen size, so good web designers will make sites that look good on all sorts of devices.

Comeback for PC? It never left
