Why, according to Martin Gardner, does science have an absolute limit? What about religion?

I realize that I can google the answer myself, but then I'd be doing work instead of my FG doing the work...

not familiar with him but i agree that science will never be able to give us the answer to every question.

even if we perfected science it would still be limited by our own imperfection in designing that perfection.

science has always asked questions that have no chance of being answered and that is something we simply have to live with because we are bound by forces that keep us from be able to do/know whatever we want about the universe.

faith has no limit because faith exist outside of such terms. you can believe in any number of "gods" and it will never be something we can disprove or prove.
