Yes. The reptilians in control of the world's government have been at war for thousands of years with the insectoid race that this craft belongs to. They are hoping to get some intelligence data from it, or maybe some classified technology that they can reverse-engineer.
Not really our business, unless the craft has living insectoids still on it. Their home world has several viruses that work in a way somewhat similar to the ophiocordyceps fungus. The native insectoids are immune to it, but humans are not. So if a living insectoid makes it to Earth we could have a huge epidemic on our hands, possibly wiping out most of the human population and turning them into zombie-like creatures. That's the main reason for the FEMA preparations we've been seeing lately. The government built HAARP specifically to disrupt the theta-waves these viruses use to control their host, but it's all experimental technology and nobody is 100% sure that it will work as expected. Let's just hope we don't ever need to use it.

gfg, only missing chemtrails/chemicals in water (provable with low altitude rainbows), and the fact that it's all a big coverup to drive people away from *insert religious figure/diety*
