So, when he goes into the black hole(I am not an astrophysicist so don't flame me if I am not understanding something).... He gains access to the 5th dimension?
Sooo confusing. If he was in the 5th dimension then he himself shouldn't look the way he does correct? I understand the general theory that in the 5th dimension that
he would be able to freely access what is in the 4th dimension(which is time) but other than that.... is there anything else I am missing?

I think the idea is that people from the far distant future who have become advanced enough to understand this, basically created a way for him to enter the 4th dimension in a way that he could understand it.

Of course, that's where the whole movie enters the classic time travel paradox. They needed to do these things for him to make him save the human race, but he needs to save them before they can do it.

I wasn't even really focused on the time travel paradox. The moment he entered into another dimension(which I really did not see coming).... I was just in awe.
When I was leaving the theater.... I did not feel good lol.... It was an amazing movie but it just didn't make me feel happy when I was leaving(I have no idea why).

As he said, advanced/evolved "beings" do not live within the "laws of physics" that we are prone to.
Therefore they allowed him to see what they knew he could comprehend, and by doing so be able to save humanity. Because the truth is, not many right now in time can comprehend such things.

As for your feelings, dont feel bad. It's only a movie, unless it's not ;)

pisses me off that the entire point of the movie remained a mystery wrapped in family love.

you get a glimpse of the "fix" she made but no real details on how all that 5th dimension cheating changed the earth situation.
