My family and I went to Angkor Wat yesterday, I wasn't really interested.

Now today I'm going to Angkor Thom which is more based on Buddhism, I'm interested.

I was wondering where did the people that built these buildings disappeared to? None of their tools used to carve these fascinating stones were left behind and the people... They just vanished, like poof!

Very intelligent beings.. I hope for some answers please if anybody have any knowledge of these people.
