Sister reformatted ssd on an ultrabook and deleted recovery partition. Now it loads straight into bios. How do i restore the OS and partition? I don't care about restoring the data.

by installing an OS on it and making a new recovery partition after.

If its been reformatted, the file system has been restructured so the previous partition separation is completely gone and unrecoverable. Even with a very successful data recovery operation, its very unlikely you would be able to recover the OS properly. You might get all the files but they wont be in the right order and the registry is toast. Your best option is to install a fresh OS. Depending on the OS, it may give you an option to create additional partitions during the installation if you want a partition to use. Alternatively you can create partitions when you reformatting, then upon installing the OS you can choose which partition to install to. Or you can create partitions after you install the OS. Operating systems usually make a small partition for system use and is not accessible to the user. Some of these solutions may vary depending on what software you are using.
