I was at work today at the Supermarket and I had to serve a lady some smokes.

She put it through on her card on credit but the transaction was unsuccessful.

The error message came up as: "emv_wrong_del_param" Description: MO

Does anybody by any chance know what that means at all? I tried looking it up online but to no avail.

emv cards comes in 2 types so that is most likely the issue.

some require the chip+pin and some require the chip+signature.

the signature cards are generally only going to have transaction issues outside of the US from what i remember.
