I'm looking to buy something to connect to my TV like an apple tv. I was going to get a 2nd gen and jailbreak it. Is there anything else that competes with apple like a roku?

amazon fire tv is a good option if you like the idea of games as well as tv.

if you just want something cheap and effective(like $50) i'd go with roku stick.
