really liked the way he explained the calender of things. how were are not really significant until pretty much the last few minutes of the cosmic calendar. makes you feel small and tiny in the whole perspective of things. how do you guys feel about that???

side note i loved the ending, how car sagan took time out of his day to take neil on a little "date" of all things to hang out with him. that was really awesome

if you missed it. its awesome

Was a really good show. Also getting the idea out that we're not the center of the universe to a mass scale via (mass media) which generally leans to the creationism side of things.

I watched about 3/4 of it.

They REALLY dumbed this down. I couldn't finish it, I felt like a 5th grader.

hi 6th grader or is it 7th grader?
perhaps you enlighten this forum with something better on that subject
but wait, you were enthralled enough to watch 3/4 of it
did it dis-inform?

not to forget that they are definitely better than 'creation science videos' or those of ancient lizards building pyramids on top of turtles or whatever
not every programme on tv expects the viewer to have more than basic (high-) school science knowledge
