Everyone knows that he's an incredibly intelligent individual that expands our current frontier of science.
But he's also articulate.

There are many smart individuals that simply don't carry his charisma or ability to speak with his mannerism.

He is grand, yet humble
Everything he says has so much logic behind it that it's difficult to argue.

He doesn't insult anyone to get his point across.
He's so intellectual and so well-mannered.
Quite the gentleman.

hes becoming bigger than sagan. its going to be a bomb shell when tyson dies. thats funny in the video preview image, it looks like hes picking his nose. lmao.

hes polite when at a group discussion. but when hes giving one of his talks or lectures he isn't so worried about manners or insulting those that deserve it. hes very good at talking and communicating.

Yeah, I like him even more than Michio Kaku. The guy has some quite impressive achievements..

Obviously a smart guy, but I wouldn't call him a brilliant researcher. We do need people who can articulate science though even if they aren't the best at pushing the boundaries of science itself. Granted, that could have just been a personal choice of his and it's not indicative of a lack of capability.

Neil Degrasse is a dumb ass, he didn't even graduate from college

A true sign of intellect is not being condescending in the face of disagreement for arguments sake, which Neil Degrasse typically demonstrates.

I have however heard him make some very ignorant and or condescending statements, my favorite example would be:

"The Authority of my Academic Pedigree".

This however is a horrid clip to demonstrate brilliance on his part, as it is hardly beyond elementary discussion IMO.
