basically i want some headphones to play music through at work

i want them to block outside sounds to an extent being as i work in a load enviroment and have to wear ear protection

i also would hope theyre confortable

i tried some dr dre solo beats and they were decent, but not worth the price, and im sure i could fine some cheaper, lesser brand that are good enough if npt better

i second the audio technicas. i have ath-a700

Some workplaces like that don't allow you to listen to music while you're working since it can be a distraction that could cause you not to see some very large, heavy machinery moving nearby and it could smash you into little bits. Double-check to make sure that listening to music while at work is allowed.
