Just a word of advice: a lot of his stuff is not accepted by the scientific community. He is an outsider and most generally consider him a crackpot. His last published paper was like 10 years ago and I am pretty sure it has been minimally cited.

Well he is a futurist and a popularize of science and I guess does well at these roles. But crackpots love to read his material, formulate crazy ideas, then cite him as a scientific reference (not realizing all the while that what they are really citing is their own whacked out interpretation of a Discovery channel cartoon version of physics or worse just futurist speculation).

If you want to blame Dr. Kaku for this situation, I suppose that is your prerogative. But IMO these people will just scour the internet for some obscure out of context quote that MIGHT support their own ideas, but will ignore the mountains upon mountains of evidence that directly contradicts them. Doomchaser (and the crackpots he loves to post videos from) is a perfect example.
